Triumph Trident

Producing 58 horsepower at 7,250 rpm, the Triumph Trident covered the standing quarter-mile in under 13 seconds, and could reach a top speed of 115-mph. In 1972, the four-speed transmission was upgraded to five-speed, and the conical front drum replaced by a disc brake. Electric-start Tridents started appearing in late 1974 as 1975 models.
