1970 Chevelle SS

Blacked-out grille, raised white letter tires, rallye wheels, dual exhaust with chrome tips - all were standard on the Chevelle SS for 1970. Twin stripes ran down the hood and rear deck lid.

Top-rated engine option for the 1970 Chevelle was the LS-6, a massive 454ci V8 producing 450-horsepower. Engine specs include 11:1 compression, solid lifter camshaft, rectangular-port cylinder heads, and aluminum intake with single 4-barrel carburetor.
